Sears is celebrating its 80th year in Hawaii with several events this month.

The celebration continues from 11 a.m.-2 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 19, at the Sears store in Hilo with keiki games, popcorn and snack vendors and a raffle for a $250 Sears gift card.

On Oct. 26, games, popcorn and snacks return from 11 a.m.-2 p.m. and the store will have a raffle, with someone winning a new refrigerator.

Retired Sears employees are especially invited to the celebration events to hang out and talk story.

The Hilo Sears store is located in Prince Kuhio Plaza.

”This is our way to thank our loyal customers for all the continued years of support,” said Hilo store manager Darin Aina.
